Moments is Michael Massenburg’s site-specific mural depicting the rich cultural and athletic history of the Forum. Madison Square Garden Company commissioned Michael Massenburg to create a mural on a garden retaining wall at the front of the Forum. This work was part of a comprehensive art plan create in compliance with the City of Inglewood’s private percent for art ordinance.

Massenburg was inspired by highlights of Forum events captured in unforgettable photographs. Collaging and redrawing these images, his mural pays homage to diverse events. Featured is the famed "Miracle on Manchester" hockey game 3 of the first round of the 1982 Stanley Cup Playoffs with the Los Angeles Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers consecutive NBA championships as the Forum’s resident team. The Davis Cup final and the 1984 Summer Olympics were other noted sports events. Athletes depicted on the mural include Mohammed Ali, Wayne Gretzky, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.  Highlights from concerts and performances at the Forum include Michael Jackson and the Supremes. Massenburg weaves these moments  into a tapestry of Forum events that played on the larger Los Angeles and international stage.
