Craig Dykers has lived extensively in both Europe and North America. He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Texas in Austin after initial studies in medicine and art. Craig worked in both Texas and California before co-founding the architecture, landscape and interior design companies Snøhetta AS in Oslo, Norway in 1989 and Snøhetta Inc in New York City in 2004. He has served as co-designed of many prominent projects, including the Alexandria Library in Egypt, the National Opera in Oslo, Norway, and the National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion at the World Trade Center. Having recently completed the new National Opera in Oslo, Snohetta has gained a number of other prominent cultural buildings including the new King Abdulaziz Center for Knowledge and Culture, the new James B Hunt Jr Library in Raleigh, NC, the new Golden State Warriors Arena and the expansion of the SFMoMA both in San Francisco and the Redesign of Times Square. Craig has also served as a Diploma Adjudicator at the Architectural College in Oslo and on the faculties of City College, Syracuse and the Architectural College in Oslo.

William Menking is an architectural historian, writer, critic, and curator of architecture and urbanism. He is professor of architecture, urbanism, and city planning at Pratt Institute and has lectured and taught at schools in the United States and Europe. He has been published in numerous architectural publications, anthologies, and museum catalogues. He has curated and organized international exhibitions on the visionary British architects Archigram, the Italian radical architects Superstudio, and contemporary English design, and he served as Commissioner of the U.S. pavilion at the 2008 Venice Biennale. He has participated in various juries including the 2006 and 2008 New York City AIA New Practices, 2007 and 2008 San Francisco AIA Honor Awards, and the 2007 Lumen awards for lighting.

Toby is a writer and bartender based in New York City. He has written on food, wine and spirits for GQ, Food and Wine, and The New York Times. His first book, Cosmopolitan: A Bartender's Life, was published in 2003. He is currently at work on his second book, a travelogue of spirits based on his travels for The New York Times' Living and travel magazines. He began bartending at the Odeon in 1987, where he is credited with creating the internationally recognized version of the Cosmopolitan cocktail in New York. He followed that with stints in several bars including Passersby, which he owned until 2008.

- 2 oz. Krogstad Aquavit
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 1 oz. wildflower honey syrup, 1:1 dilution ratio
- 1/4 oz. fresh ginger juice
- 4 oz. Yeungling Lager
- rim of kosher salt, smoked salt, vanillated sugar, cayenne pepper, black pepper, sour orange zest
- garnish of lemon twist and celery stalk.
With a piece of cut lemon, moisten rim of a double old-fashioned glass and rim with salt mixture, making certain to clear the inside edge of overage. Shake first four ingredients together and strain into double old-fashioned glass with one large ice cube. Twist the lemon peel over and add in. Top gently with the beer and garnish with celery stalk.
