Description
Following the destruction of a wide swath of Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and the South End to make room for a new section of Interstate 95, community groups, architects, and planners banded together to stop the impending construction. The long strip of cleared land was turned into 4.7 mile park complete with new development areas and 8 new MBTA Orange Line stations.
