Looking like a gargantuan bug from a horror movie, the Old Colony Railroad Bridge is one of the most compelling objects in Boston.

This incredible hulk of industrial sculpture bestrides Fort Point channel, behind South Station, like a misplaced fragment from Pittsburgh or Chicago.
