ABOUT THE HISTORICAL PHOTOGRAPHS
"The Proctor Building, at the corner of Kingston and Bedford streets downtown, is many people’s favorite small commercial building in Boston – despite the gruesomely defaced condition in which it has long moldered. The old photo shows the Proctor as it was meant to be. The year is 1903, and the building, just five years old, looks like a tiny jewel box.
