ABOUT THE HISTORICAL PHOTOGRAPHS
The Boston boom of the '70s and '80s is the subject of the newer photograph. Like bars on a business graph, the towers of commerce thrust upward, symbols of the prosperity of that era. As they do so, they dwarf a symbol front an earlier time, the Custom House Tower, shown in 1956.
