ABOUT THE HISTORICAL PHOTOGRAPHS
A place in a city where two major streets meet at a sharp angle is always a wonderful site for a billboard, because it is visible from a distance along both thoroughfares. We are looking west along Main Street (left) and Broadway (right) in Cambridge, the intersection that forms Kendall Square (named for a local boiler-factory owner, Edward
