Tour Leader: James Kaplan, Attorney & Historian

Tour Assistant: Olivia Kaplan

The Jewish Arrival Tour in Lower Manhattan traces key locations of the establishment of New York's Jewish population. The tour began at Bowling Green, where 23 Jewish immigrants first landed in 1654. It follows the Jewish community's influence in the Revolutionary War, and the Civil War, and the development of a global Jewish solidarity network.
