Description
Installed in the Chinese Recreational Center of San Francisco, "Active Memory" is composed of blown glass calligraphy and emphasizes transparency, language, and memory. Words such as "mist", "mountain", "ocean", "railroad", and "dream" reflect the narrative of San Francisco history and the Chinese American experience in the West.
