Dinoceras, meaning dynamic wax in Latin, is titled after a horned mammal that populated North America during the Eocene period. The sculpture is one of the largest wax sculptures ever made to date. Cook used a wax casting technique that employed bees wax and a bamboo framework to build the bronze piece.

This stone relief above the entrance to the church depicts a number of Biblical scenes. On the frieze between the doors, New Testament stories are shown: Kings from the East arrive, next is the flight into Egypt, and finally, the betrayal of Jesus and John the Baptist. Old Testament figures--Isaiah and Elijah--are shown in the niches.

In 1926, Saemundsson won a competition for a piece for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The Spirit of Achievement, a naked, winged nymph.

Brightly colored acrylic and spray painted canvases, dyed soft sculptures, and a concrete block plant create an abstract tropical environment in the lobby of the Lever House. Bernhardt’s chaotic “concrete jungle” is enclosed in its own bio-dome, similar to the botanical garden that she calls the Jurassic terrarium.
